Artichoke & Spinach Warm Dip Recipe

Directions

1 packet Artichoke & Spinach Warm Dip Mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese*, softened
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese, divided

1. In medium microwave-safe dish, combine Artichoke & Spinach warm Dip Mix, cream cheese and ½ cup Swiss cheese.

2. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds; stir and repeat until heated through. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top; microwave an additional 30-60 seconds or until cheese melts. If desired, place warm dip in an oven-safe dish and broil until bubbly and lightly browned.

Makes about 1½ cups dip.

*Lighten it up: use light cream cheese instead.

    I didn't love this dip. I have had better in restaurants. TGIF makes a frozen version that one can heat up in the microwave at home. That tastes better than this dip mix. It wasn't completely awful, but I wouldn't buy it again.

    This was a big hit with my guys. Easy to make. I ended up making mine in the oven, then under the broiler until the top was golden brown. Will purchase again

    Tailgate Party Dip a hit!

    I made this dip for a Buffalo Bills tailgate party yesterday (only 8 of us there and we social distanced!!), anyways, it was a hit!! Everybody loved it!! And simple to make!!

    Perhaps this dip would be better prepared in the oven. I was not pleased with microwave results.

    I had made it as it said to in the oven and it was not that good. I have another package so I may try to add spinach and artichokes to hopefully give it more flavor.
