The box includes easy to follow instructions - just add melted butter, egg and 1 cup water for the perfect texture every time. Use the chocolate cake mix to create a wide range of desserts including loaf cakes, bundt cakes and cupcakes. It can even be kneaded into a dough for a scrumptious biscotti or cookies. Kosher. Directions

1 package Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix
¾ cup water
¾ cup butter, melted & cooled
1 large egg

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; blend well. Do not overmix; batter will be lumpy.
  2. Spread batter in a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake 55-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  3. Cool completely. Remove from pan and slice.

Makes about 11 servings.

High Altitude: Increase water by 2 tablespoons and add 1⁄3 cup flour. Bake at 325˚F for 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Do not eat raw batter.

    This pound Cake is a must have! It looks s decadent! I sprinkle confectioners sugar on it to make it pretty. I let it cool completely, cut it in slices, wrap them in parchment paper and tie with a ribbon for special treats! This mix is amazing!
