    Recipe changed

I recently purchased a bottle of this thinking it was the same old fiesta party seasoning I had always enjoyed. I haven’t had it in a few years but I assumed tastefully simple wen try the motto, “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. Apparently not. I noticed at first that it seemed more powdery than usual. I still mixed it accordingly and waited about an hour and dipped my beer bread into it like I always have before. The paprika overwhelmed the taste. It was so bad I almost threw up. It’s been almost a half hour and I can still taste the paprika lingering in my mouth on my taste buds. It is the most disgusting thing I’ve tasted in a long time. I thought it looked darker than usual but I thought maybe it’s just been a while since I had it. Now I followed the directions perfectly but I’m telling everyone it tastes nothing like I remember. So what did I do? I had an older forays party dip with enough left to make half the recipe. Low and behold it tasted like I remembered. So they definitely changed something in their recipe. Made it less expensive for them or whatever it is they do.

This seasoning works great in any type of fajitas. I also use a little in my vegetarian chili.
