How to Use Mom's Favorite Taco Seasoning

Mom's Favorite Taco Meat


1 pound lean ground beef
2½ tablespoons. Mom’s Favorite Taco Seasoning
⅔ cup water

1. In medium skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef, drain.

2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer, stir until thickened.

Makes 4 servings.

For a Mexican twist to burgers, add 2 tablespoons Mom’s Favorite Taco Seasoning to 1 pound of ground beef. Form into burgers and cook. Top with salsa, guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes or your favorite taco toppings.

    Taco seasoning

    Was not very spicy. I added some red pepper flakes to it which made it a little better. I prefer the store bought seasoning.

    Hands down the best taco season

    First of all the very best thing about this spice blend it's that it's packed with flavor without the heavy saltiness of packet taco seasoning. So much flavor comes through even if you only use a tiny bit on your food. A little goes a long way so this bottle will last for a good amount of time which makes it a great value for the price. Highly recommend you try this!

    Nothing artificial!!

    Great taco flavor but the best it's nothing artificial. I love the fact that I dont taste additives/ chemicals!! Great in ground beef, chicken and dips!!

    Best Seasoning Ever!

    Ever since we bought out first container of this taco seasoning, we won’t use anything else! We also recommend it to everyone we can. It makes the meat so flavorful. If we get down to less than 2 full containers, my husband has me buy more. We don’t ever want to run out! It’s not too salty like previous reviews say. It’s possible they may have used too much or they don’t season their food very often. This seasoning is soooooooo much better than the Taco Bell seasoning. Or anything you buy off the shelf. We barely have any taco meat left after everyone makes their plate but when we do, everyone goes back for seconds.

    Extremely Salty

    I was so excited to get this product and make the taco meat with it instead of the usual Taco Bell kind. I followed the directions and let me tell you it was as if someone dumped a box of salt down my throat. Extremely salty. In fact the second ingredient is salt!!! My kids hated the taco meat it got wasted. I wasted my money on this product!!! Very disappointed as I have never had a problem with anything I bought from tastefully simple. I will never buy this again. It burns your throat it’s so salty. I will not recommend this product to anyone only gave it 1 star because I had no choice
