    We really enjoy this cake. I must totally disagree with one of the reviews. I actually add more almond extract as my family enjoys it that way. I also add slivered almonds to the batter for a little texture.

    VERY almond flavored, in fact, too almond flavored

    This was a little disappointing. The texture of the cake was excellent, but the almond flavor was quite overpowering.

    So easy and delicious!

    It is easy to prepare, bakes quickly and is so delicious. I slice it and serve with fresh raspberries and blackberries with whipped cream on the top. Oh so good and light!

    My new favorite cake!

    This cake is so good, it would be delicious plain. I drizzled a little strawberry jam and swirled it around and it added an extra pop. Tried it for the first time today and now I know I have to always have it on hand.

    The cake was amazing! We made it for Christmas this year and it was a big hit. I'm curious about the "Almond" - it's listed in the Contains section of the ingredients, but not in the Ingredients listing. Does the cake contain almond flour or almond extract?

    This almond pound cake is fabulous. It has great flavor and is very moist. Even my husband likes it.

    Great in a pinch

    Have been using this mix for years. I freeze a few and when unexpected company arrives, I thaw one and usually end up with a base for strawberry shortcake. Serves well with ice cream and sauce also.
