Ingredients

  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Apple Seasoning
  • ¼ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 4 large apples, (such as Granny Smith®, Honeycrisp®, Pink Lady® or Fuji)
  • Vanilla ice cream and/or warmed Creamy Caramel Sauce, optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375?F. In medium bowl, combine first 3 ingredients; mix in oats and pecans.
  2. Using a sharp paring knife or melon baller, remove apple core and flesh to create a cavity about 1½-inch in diameter in apple being sure not to cut through the bottom.
  3. Place cored apples in an 8x8-inch baking pan. Stuff crumble mixture evenly into apples. Cover with foil; bake 30 minutes. Remove foil; continue baking 10 minutes or until apples reach desired tenderness.
  4. Serve warm in individual dishes, topped with ice cream and/or warmed Creamy Caramel Sauce, if desired.
