Cowboy Beans

I have been looking for a recipe for Cowboy Beans for a while. This recipe is the one! It’s easy to make and is absolutely delicious, it even won over my husband, he says this is a keeper! In my opinion, it’s got the perfect balance of sweetness and spicy kick to make it a winner, I may try adding some chopped up bacon the next time, because everything is better with bacon. But really, this recipe is just perfect as it is!

This dish is a great compliment to a BBQ party with ribs or burgers or chicken on the grill.I always get compliments and everyone wants the recipe. I change it up by using real bacon and adding french fried onions. Delicious

At our house this recipe became: Brown ground turkey, add black beans and pinto beans, one can of diced tomatoes, one can of Rotel, Wahoo chili mix, Bayou Bourbon glaze and grainy mustard. I also add some chicken broth if the dish is too thick. Delicious!!

This is such an easy and tasty recipe, I started taking it to our potluck dinners. Now, I'm asked to bring it all the time! Fast, tasty AND requested!?!? Who could ask for more!?!

This dish is excellent. I added a 1/2 pound of spicy ground sausage. Fantastic!

I have made these many times and always altering the recipe some-great every time!!

Took to a picnic and had to add the recipe to the group cookbook! I did use some left over burgers that were cooked on the charcoal grill for the meat. Added a little extra flavor that my husband said was fantastic. Easy and quick to make!

I prepared these for a dinner at church. They ate all of it. They all loved it!

This is my go to side dish! Always come home with an empty crock pot :)
