Ingredients

  • 1 package Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • Silicone Bar Pan
  • 1 (16 ounce) container white frosting
  • Food coloring
  • Piping tips

Directions

  • IMPORTANT: Our Pound Cake Formulas have changed. If your box has the maroon logo and NO egg in the preparation directions, follow the 2nd set of directions below.
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. In large bowl, combine Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix, water, butter and egg. Mix until combined.
  2. Divide batter among wells of Silicone Bar Pan or 1 greased (12-count) muffin pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Cool completely.
  3. Divide frosting and mix with desired food colors to create your favorite team colors. Decorate cakes as desired for your specific game day, such as jerseys, end zones, yard lines, basketball court, football, basketball, helmets, etc. The options are endless.
