Do I bake the pie crust first?? OR add off my ingredients to the frozen pie crust?

Made this quiche two times. The first time with bacon and the second time no bacon. I did not add any salt either time. Extremely salty. Will not use this recipe again. The soup mix as a soup is fine.

My hubby and I loved this recipe - I used bacon bits and low fat mozzarella cheese in a deep dish pie crust - it is wonderful ;-)

We followed the recipe as well as some suggestions from other customers (like using a deep-dish pie crust and everything went wonderful....until we tasted it. We usually cook a low salt diet and this dish was way too salty for out palate. It looked wonderful, the texture was also wonderful, it was only the salty taste. In order to finish up our slices, we had to spread fruit preserves over it to counteract the saltines. It is the first time this had happened to us with a Tastefully Simple recipe, so we are going to continue trying other recipes.

I thought this was very tasty and easy to make. I thought it was a bit too salty, so I would omit the extra salt. I think the soup mix has enough salt in it.

This was super easy to make. I even make it crustless. Very good. just don't add any salt at all. I added very little as the recipe calls for and it was very salty. the soup mix and bacon provide enough salt

I really liked this recipe. I will make it again. The only thing that I would change next time is I won't add any salt. In my opinion, there is plenty of salt with the bacon and the mix itself. The recipe instructs to let stand for 5 minutes after whisking the first 3 ingredients. I forgot to do that but it seemed OK when done. I might only bake it for 40 minutes next time.

I make this quiche regularly... we love it! Bacon Bacon is an easy substitute for bacon when I don't have it on hand. Works great as a crust less quiche as well.

I have 3 boys and a husband who love this breakfast meal.

I would recommend either using a deep-dish prepared pie crust or better yet bake your own as there was too much liquid for the 9" crust. I also think the cooking time of 40 minutes is excessive. The result was far too thick and hard for a good quiche. I will continue to use my 9 ingredient recipe in future but have high praise for other Tastefully Simple products.
