This soup is SO good. I added a bunch of fresh broccoli (broken into small pieces) and a fresh carrot sliced thin. I steamed the veggies for just two minutes until bright colored & crisp tender. Then I added to the soup 5 minutes before serving. Delicious ! I recommend the multi- pack because you will want to make it more than once.

Quick but not homemade
This is fine for a very quick throw together but much prefer my homemade soup.

Great for a quick soup or base
I have made several times adding 1-2 cups of kale and some chicken sausage. I do not use much salt and this helped cut it down a bit. Great for a fast dinner served with warm beer bread or in a Sourdough bowl. If you have extra mashed potatoes or hash browns, add that in as well!
