Ingredients
- 1 pound 85% lean ground beef
- 2 teaspoons Ultimate Steak™ Seasoning
- 4 (6-inch) fajita-style flour or corn tortillas
- 4 cheese slices of choice
- 4 tablespoons Smoky Bacon BBQ Sauce
- ⅓ cup crispy fried onions
- Burger toppings such as, shredded lettuce, tomato, sliced onion, pickles
Directions
- Preheat flattop griddle to medium heat (350°F or 180°C). In medium bowl, combine ground beef and Ultimate Steak Seasoning. Form into 4 balls.
- When griddle is hot, place burger balls on griddle. Top with a tortilla and using the back of a heavy spatula placed over tortilla, firmly press down, smashing the patties very flat. Cook, undisturbed, 3-4 minutes.
- Turn burgers with tortillas over. Top burgers with cheese and continue cooking, undisturbed, until internal temperature of burger reaches 165°F on an instant-read food thermometer, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from griddle. Spread with Smoky Bacon BBQ Sauce and top with crispy fried onions and desired burger toppings. Serve folded like a taco.
- Makes 4 servings.
- Stovetop Option: Prepare as directed in a large skillet over medium-high heat (in batches, if needed).
