Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Tangy Raspberry Dipping Sauce
- 6 slices brioche, Hawaiian or white bread
- 6 slices Gruyère cheese or Swiss cheese
- 4 slices thinly sliced deli ham
- 4 slices thinly sliced deli turkey
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon Seasoned Salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Powdered sugar, warmed Tangy Raspberry Dipping Sauce
Directions
- In small bowl, combine mayonnaise and Tangy Raspberry Dipping Sauce.
- Place 4 bread slices on a cutting board. Spread with raspberry mayonnaise. Top each slice with one slice of cheese. Top two slices with ham and two slices with turkey. Place layer with turkey on top of layer with ham. Top with remaining slices of cheese and remaining slices of bread.
- Gently press down on sandwich and cut off crusts with a serrated knife (this will help seal the sandwich).
- Heat a medium skillet over medium-low heat. Meanwhile in shallow dish, whisk together egg, milk and Seasoned Salt. Add butter to hot skillet. Dip sandwiches in egg mixture and place in skillet; cover. Cook until golden brown, about 4-6 minutes. Carefully turn over and recover. Continue cooking until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes.
- Remove from skillet. Cut in half diagonally and dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve with warmed Tangy Raspberry Dipping Sauce for dipping.
