Husband and 19 year old son were home for dinner. i put this in the Crockpot about 1130, they probably ate 630 (so 7 hours on low was perfect). There is barely enough left for one more portion - it was that good! I ADORE TS!!!!!!
Best Pot Roast EVER!!!
The Vidalia Onion Pot roast is so easy to make and it melts in your mouth. It creates its own broth we serve w/rice & a veggie! I cook mine over night while I sleep on Low and sometimes let it continue cooking part of the day.
It was easy and tasted great!
I didn't have much time to throw a really nice dinner together so I put the roast in a crock pot, poured 1/2 bottle of the Vidalia dressing on top with 1/2 cup pasta sauce. Made some sides once got home from errands and wow, was this good! I'll remember this for those busy times, but want a nice roast beef dinner.

My entire family loves this recipe, and it's a great one to do when company is coming. It has great flavor, and it makes the perfect amount of "gravy"! I suggest making it on low in the slow cooker. When we cooked it on high, the meat didn't turn out as tender.
