Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 -4 drops green food coloring
  • 1 package Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix™
  • 34 whole almonds

Directions

  • IMPORTANT: Our Pound Cake Formulas have changed. If your box has the maroon logo and NO egg in the preparation directions, follow the 2nd set of directions below.
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, combine first 3 ingredients until well combined. Add Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix; stir until dough forms.
  2. Roll dough into fingers about 3x½-inches. Press an almond on the end of each finger to make a fingernail. Place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
  3. Using a sharp paring knife, score the middle of the fingers two or three times to make knuckles. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely on baking sheet.
  • Makes 32-34 fingers.
