Ingredients
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 3 -4 drops green food coloring
- 1 package Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix™
- 34 whole almonds
Directions
- IMPORTANT: Our Pound Cake Formulas have changed. If your box has the maroon logo and NO egg in the preparation directions, follow the 2nd set of directions below.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, combine first 3 ingredients until well combined. Add Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix; stir until dough forms.
- Roll dough into fingers about 3x½-inches. Press an almond on the end of each finger to make a fingernail. Place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
- Using a sharp paring knife, score the middle of the fingers two or three times to make knuckles. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely on baking sheet.
- Makes 32-34 fingers.
