Ingredients

  • 6 (5-6 ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 12 bacon slices
  • ¾ cup Vidalia® Onion Dressing
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Garlic™ Seasoning

Directions

  1. Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon. In small bowl, combine Vidalia Onion Dressing and Garlic Garlic Seasoning.
  2. Brush dressing on all sides of chicken, reserving any extra dressing. Place chicken in a 3-quart or larger slow cooker. Cook on LOW 5-6 hours.
  3. Preheat broiler to HIGH. Remove chicken and brush with reserved dressing. Place chicken on a baking sheet. Broil to crisp bacon, turning once, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Makes 6 servings.
  • Serve with Creamy Herb Pasta.

  • Make Ahead & Freeze: Prepare step 1. Individually wrap chicken breasts in plastic wrap. Combine Vidalia Onion Dressing and Garlic Garlic Seasoning in a quart freezer bag. Place chicken and bag in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 2.
  • Bake Option: Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare through step 2, placing chicken in a greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Bake until internal temperature reaches 165°F on an instant-read food thermometer, about 45-60 minutes.

    Super Simple and Juicy

    This recipe is the easiest no-fail recipe that you can personalize in so many ways! Add your favorite sauce during the last few minutes of cooking to get a perfect carmelization! Everyone in my family loved this recipe including my toddler!

    Zesty Vidalia & Bacon Wrapped Chicken

    This was so easy and delish! I did this slightly differently. I mixed the sauce & seasoning and marinated the chicken breasts in that for approximately 2-3 hrs, Then I wrapped in the bacon and followed the oven baking instructions. This way, the chicken came out super tender, but the bacon came out crisp- the best of both! My husband & son just loved this one, asked when I was making it again. They want it once a week- A big hit!

    Bacon Wrapped Delicious!

    This dish LOOKS like it would be impossible to make, but it's super easy. I used the oven method for cooking and the chicken was moist, tender and delicious. Definitely a keeper.

    Ahhhhmazing!

    I prepared this in the oven for the first time tonight and it was ahhhhmazing!! The flavor was fantastic and the chicken stayed juicy. Definitely putting this recipe in the meal rotation.

    So delicious and easy to prepare.

    So flavorful... I could eat the entire pan! I cooked it at 375 with my convection oven to get the bacon crispy. Cooked until done then put the sauce on top and popped back into the oven for 10 mins.

    Even good as pork chop wrapped in bacon

    My husband is allergic to poultry so our consultant suggested swapping chicken for pork chops. Let me tell you uts amazing!!!!

    Winner!

    Winner, winner - chicken dinner! This was a WOW dinner. Dear husband of mine can’t stop talking about what a great cook I am. (Tee-Hee!). This meal was from the Family Faves 10 Mral Kit. I modified the suggested side (Creamy Herb Pasta) by serving as a salad after adding some veg to it. We will DEFINITELY be making this again!

    Zesty Vidalia and Bacon Wrapped Chicken Recipe

    Great taste and easy to make. I did this in the oven and was very surprised how good this tasted. Hubby did even know it had garlic in it. Will make this and put in the freezer for quick summer meals after being on the lake all day.
