6 cups cold water

  1. In large saucepan over medium heat, whisk soup Perfectly Potato Cheddar Soup Mix into cold water.

  2. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste.

Makes about 6 servings.

    PERFECTLY POTATO CHEDDAR SOUP MIX

    Made this on a snowy night and added bacon and frozen vegetables and served with beer bread. Raves all around!

    Would be better with less salt

    The overall flavor was good. Extremely salty though! I didn't add any extra vegetables or seasonings. I only added bacon bits and a dollop of Greek yogurt. Won't buy again because of the salt. My throat was burning from the salt!

    I remember this being sooo delicious, so I bought 2 bags. Sadly, it’s not as I remember it. It’s way too salty.

    It's a good base to start I like to add chicken,corn,and more potatoes with a little cheese. The flavor is good but with out adding stuff to it it's not filling but once you add a few things it's so good

    I had high hopes

    I had high hopes for this soup. Sadly it wasn’t good. I feel like it almost had a seafood type of seasoning on it. My kids weren’t a fan either.

    Decent...but incomplete cooking directions.

    The taste is good. I added very small pieces of broccoli along with smoked ham & bacon pieces. Also topped it with a bit of shredded cheese. The issue I have? The cooking directions. They are incomplete/assume everyone knows how to cook soup. It says to whisk the mix into 6 cups of cold water then simmer for 30 minutes. Make sure you get the soup nice & hot(boiling) THEN turn it down a bit and let it thicken. Takes longer than 30 minutes.

    I usually love all things tastefully simple but this soup mix at least mine was so salty I wasnt impressed at all if not so salty it may be ok with adding own potatoes ect but disappointed in this completely.
