Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix Preparation & Suggestions

We made this to use with strawberry shortcake for Mother's Day, and my whole family LOVED it. It did not last long. I enjoy it warm right out of the over all by itself.

Over the past year I have made each of the cake mixes for my Bridge group, and each has been a hit. Each cake makes enough for eight servings so they are the perfect size. For the almond pound cake, I added a handful of sliced almonds which enhanced the almond flavor even more. Now everyone wants my recipe! LOL

I added a few drops of orange essential oil for a delicious orange cake!!

I used Nutella to put a little chocolate swirl on top. everyone at Bunco LOVED it!

I am having a party soon. I hadn't tried this yet, so I made it and brought it into the ladies at work who've I've invited to the party to tease and tempt them so they have an idea what is ahead. It was loved by all. And everyone was amazed when I told them how easy it was to make.

I have made this for my church's bake sale multiple times and it's one of the first things to sell. The first time I made this for my husband and myself, I didn't know if he would eat it or not but he loves it.

This is my go-to mix when getting ready for camping! It is absolutely delicious and can be used as a breakfast bread or a dessert.

I absolutely LOVE this mix. I think it is best cut into cubes. Eat it plain, or perhaps with a dollop of cream and some berries. You can't go wrong. I did try this with a recipe that made the batter into a crust instead of a cake. I didn't care for it that way. It is perfect as is! No substitutions!
