Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix Preparation & Suggestions

Great for Strawberry Shortcake. Everyone in my family just loves it.

This was a gift to my sister. She said it was one of the best cakes she had ever had. I like to give tastefully simple for gifts to relatives who do not live close by and have never been disappointed with the results I've had from them.

I have always loved this pound cake...recommend it to anyone. This time when I made it I added some dried cranberries and sliced almonds. Unfortunately I did not get to taste......but my dog loved it.

I rec'd my box of almond cake in a gift bag at a shower. I made it with 1 stick of butter and 1/2 stick of buttered flavored crisco (because I had it.) It was fabulous. Was just looking where to buy it when I checked this site. If I had read the complaint of one user I might have tried using only 1/2 cup butter but apparently everyone else used the 3/4 cup with no complaint - mine came out fine. Wish I could buy this in a store.
