Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix Preparation & Suggestions

I take it to my work for potlucks, they always want my recipe, I tell them tastefullysimple.

I made this simple Almond pound cake. I thought this is so delicious but I wondered if others felt the same. I shared it with family and friends and everyone thought WOW, delicious and moist. I went to a well known bakery in SF and this was far better!!!!! A really nice dessert to serve your guests for sure!

Took almost twice as long to bake as indicated on the box. After letting it cool I went to take it out of the pan and it completely fell apart. Something is not right here. This is not pound cake. Plus, there's no real almonds in the cake, just extract. For the price I would expect real almonds.
