I made mine with hard cider and it was amazing. So easy to make just add liquid, mix and bake. Be prepared it won't last long. Will definitely be reordering. Makes me look like I worked hard.

Great with Spinach Dip
I had a pre-Thanksgiving gathering and made a long time cherished recipe of Spinach Dip - so THIS bread really gave it the presentation quality I wanted. I made it in a 5" round cake pan so it made a high rise bowl! Everyone loved it!

It is so easy to make and if you start with a piece while it's still hot it may be all gone before dinner or company arrives. YUMMY

We love the frsh baked bread.
I have tried making the bread with soda. It works well that way if you do not want to use the beer to make the bread. It is really good either way, but I think it is the best when you use a good beer.

Made in bread machine
Had never made it in the bread machine and it did very well. Next time I will select a lighter setting though since we used a dark stout. Went well with the dinner we had made. My daughter and her husband loved it.
