Sunny Lemon Pound Cake & Icing Mix Preparation & Suggestions

This was one of the best pound cakes I've ever had. Easy to make and the flavor was amazing. Definitely will be ordering more.

This was scrumptious. I took a hint from the blueberry/lemon bar recipe on the box, and added 6 oz fresh blueberries to the batter once it was in the pan (so I wouldn't be stirring them around too much in the bowl). It was excellent; hardly any leftovers.

No one does pound cake like Tastefully Simple does pound cake. This one is no exception!

What a disappointment! This didn't rise at all, so was very dense. It was like it had baked with a brick on it! Very unpleasant texture. Flavor not bad, though based on previous reviews, I substituted some of the water with fresh squeezed lemon juice and added the rind of one lemon for more tartness.

Love this true lemon flavor and summery dessert! Will be serving this to friends and family this summer.

Could not detect any lemon flavor in this cake. Honestly, all I can taste is the butter (called for in the directions). Love the other mixes but this one was a dud for me.

Loved the cake, overall. It was very moist and yummy. However, if it is supposed to be lemon, I would've loved to have tasted more lemon!! The frosting had a little of a lemon flavor, but that was it. So, I was disappointed in the flavor, overall. But enjoyed the cake as a whole.

This is the best lemon cake ever!!! My sister who absolutely hates hates hates lemon desserts really liked this!! The lemon is natural and it is subtle. The cake is moist and succulent!!!!!! My family loved it!!!!
