Sunny Lemon Pound Cake & Icing Mix Preparation & Suggestions

We loved the Sunny Lemon Pound Cake! A moist cake full of flavor, it is pleasing to all our picky eaters. The icing was the perfect compliment. I made the icing as directed plus a splash of lemon juice. Heavenly!!! Hope this cake will stick around!!!

This was amazingly good pound cake. As some others have said, the lemon flavor is just right, and not overwhelming. I added white chocolate chips, and the taste was great. The only negative was that, even though I greased the pan thoroughly, a little bit of the bottom center of the cake stayed in the pan. This won't deter me from making it again, though---it's too delicious !

This was my first time making this product. I loved it and my kids loved it. Definitely recommend Sunny Lemon Pound Cake if you're a fan of lemon! Such a big hit, will buy again.

This has the perfect lemon taste without being overpowering. It's not too sweet with the icing but not too tart from the lemon. It was hit in my office and everyone thought it was made from scratch (no one has to know the difference)

I made it for Easter. Every bite tasted like a spring. I add fresh lemon juice to my icing instead of water. We loved it. #tastefullyGrogan

I was very disappointed with this mix. I love lemon flavored anything, and expected this mix to have a definite lemon flavor like the almond pound cake has a definite almond flavor. Both myself and my friends could not taste any lemon in the mix. It tasted like a perfectly good plain pound cake, but definitely not a Sunny Lemon one. Is it possible I received a mix missing the flavoring? Usually love all the Tastefully Simple products and always keep Absolutely Almond and Nana's mixes in my pantry. I was hoping to add this mix as a staple too. I will continue to recommend TS,but not this mix!

This is the perfect Lemon Pound Cake. I have made it 2x now and definitely feel the icing only needs 1 tablespoon of water to make it thicker. It was finished both times I made it.
